Yesterday was My Birthday and for last three days I was not even ONLINE!

I was out of city and I had no access to computer and internet there. Today I just come back home and was delighted to read so many awesome emails from my online friends wishing me happy birthday, thanks to all of my great friends.

Six Months ago Google bought the YouTube for $1.6bn. This news was a great news for us who develop the Virtual Real Estates :-). Close friend of mine was shouting with joy and insisting to quit owning all thousands sites and create just ONE site like this. So we can also cash Billion $ from Indusrty Giants.

Mark Joyner has done this again and again and also has taught the business quit strategy in his book. That is build a business and sell it to the Giant for big bucks and do this again and again.

For now I want to share that Google has again bought a big company for $3.1bn called Doubleclick. And there are two good news for us I think. One is that how business quit strategy is powerfull and profitfull for the guys who love to build the companies again and again. Second being the publishers online we will profit from this deal. As Google will be serving more ads to our sites. That is more commisions for us.

To build a website and create flow of loads of traffic to that website needs a comprehensive approach. There is a simple strategy, which I want to share with you today. You can say it a common sense Internet Marketing Strategy or Website Traffic Generation Strategy.

It looks common sense and obvious to a pro webmaster, but for a starter this game(build a site and get traffic to it) really looks very confusing and frustrating. As there are so many things to do in this regard. But they found no order in that ToDo list. I mean From Where to Start, is big puzzle for them. What to do now, and what to do after what! Here is solution:

Simple Internet Marketing Strategy to Generate Web Traffic:

Step 1- List Of Targeted Keywords and Phrases:

First of all, before even thinking to promote your website, you need this list. A list of your main keywords, and targeted, related keywords and phrases list.

To compile your targeted and related keywords list, you can use one of the below two tools.

1. WordTracker Professional Tool
2. OverTure Keywords Selection Tool

Well if you can afford i Recommend you WordTracker as it do not only show the demand per keywords but also competition. So after comprehensive analysis of Demand and Supply you can join that niche. It is up to you now, either use OverTure or WordTracker. The objective is compile the list of keywords you want to target.

It will also be great if you paste this list in a spreadsheet and make another column there of SUPPLY. And against every keyword’s search count (demand) cell, there must be a figure of competition (supply).

If you are using Overture, then you have to do in manually and by searching Google or other Search Engine, to find that how many sites are competing for that keyword or phrase.

It is very easy if you are using WordTracker as this service provide demand and supply figure for each keyword with one click for whole of your list.

Step 2- Onpage Search Engine Optimization:

Again my suggestion is do this before even thinking to promote or launch your website.

What is Onpage Search Engine Optimization, and how to do this?
Onpage SEO means optimizing your own website’s pages for search engines with related keywords and phrases.

There are certain areas of your webpages which can be optimized for this purpose. Following are some areas you should consider:

• FileName of the Webpage: Your webpage file name should contain main keyword or phrase. For instance yourdomain.com/main-keyword.html is far better than yourdomain.com/our-salesletter.html
• Title Of the Page: Title of your webpage must contain the main keyword or phrase. Make your title short but concise full of your main keyword and phrases.
• Meta Tags: Now a days people are just leaving this area of optimization, as they are educated that Google do not consider it. They are correct but i have seen from my own testing and results that Meta Tags Still Works. At least add Description Meta Tag and Keywords Meta Tag.
• Main Headline [h1]: Main headline of your page, should be in H1 html tag, and it must contain main keyword or phrase.
• Main keyword in First paragraph and in last paragraph. Also Bold, Underline and use other headlines like h2, h3 and h4 to highlight your main keywords in the page.

Step 3- Promotion Starts Now - Submit it:

Upto now we were just doing homework. In summary we have done keyword selection and then incorporation of those keywords in the webpages.

Now you should launch your website promotion in the websphere. There are two main Things you can do right now.

1. Directory Submission
2. Search Engine Submission

While submitting to the directories do not forget to incorporate right ANCHOR Text in your links. What is Anchor text?

Here are some definitions:

• Anchor text is the visible text in a hyperlink. Anchor text gets a lot of weight in search engine algorithms because the linked text is usually relevant to the landing page. The objective of search engines is to provide highly relevant search results; this is where anchor text helps as the tendency is, more often than not, to hyperlink words relevant to the landing page. • The text that shows up on the link, example (in code) <a href=”http://www.YourDomain.com”> You Main Keyword Here </a> and, Your Main Keyword Here is Anchor Text.

So it is better to have Main Keyword As Anchor Text rather than CLICK HERE as Anchor Text.

• Directory Submission:

Everyone in online world accepts the importance of site submission to directories. So you do it manually or outsource it from a professional service with little cost. • Search Engine Submission:

There are two school of thoughts lol! I mean one school of thought says let the Search Engines come and index themselves. This is current trend, and of course it does work when you have got many links coming to your site. So SE bots can find your site via those links.

Other school of thought says, submit your site to all SEs for maximum results. From my own testing and results, i recommend this method. I know this does not work with major players. But what about hundreds of small Search engines. If we submit to all of those, we can get maximum results. There are almost 114 Search Engines, to which last time my site was submitted by my own already mentioned service WarMarks.com

Step 4- Get Related Links to Your Site (Ongoing promotion):

If done right this step is very crucial and beneficial for real results in term of traffic, and sales.

You can start getting related links, by exchanging links to other related sites. It is also called Reciprocal Link Exchange i.e. They put your link on their site and you do the same for their link on your site.

There are other ethical ways also to get one way links to your website. Like writing articles and submitting to article directories with linkback to your site in sig of that article.

You can also post in related forums and get linkbacks to your site via sig in the posts. Another way is commenting to the related blogs. Do not spam or abuse these methods. You know integrity is also one crucial success factor in your business

For now it is enough! But this is fact WORDS without ACTION are DEAD. So take Massive Action to implement anything you have learned which can benefit your business.

Domain Name Registration is a bit easy but it is not the same case when we try to Transfer a domain name from one Registrar to another Registrar. I have recently decided to transfer some of my domain names to another Registrar.

Maybe you ask why someone will transfer a domain name to another Registrar. Well you are right, i used to think same in the past. As i have never any problem with current domain name registrar. Well some possible issues can be customer service, add on services, cost and contract between customer and the company, company’s policy regarding spam policy and much more like that.

You know, most famous and first registrar for new comers is GoDaddy.com. Yes it is fact. The domain names i am going to transfer are currently managed by Godaddy as a domain Registrar. And the big reason to transfer the domain name from them is THEIR SPAM POLICY and DOMAIN OWNERSHIP policy after a spam complain is received. What they do is suspend the domain name and may take charge of your domain name, if they receive spam complains about that domain name. Then you can never transfer or take charge again of that domain name. Yes it is the case.

To avoid this possible disaster, i have decided to transfer domain names from Godaddy to NameCheap.com , as so far this is the best registrar in the opinion of many friends of mine in IM.

Well to domain name transfer process is simple. Go to the new domain name Registrar and follow the instructions. During the process you need, EPP Authorization Key or Registrar Authorization Code, even one of my current registrar (other than godaddy.com) used the word there called DOMAIN SECRET instead of EPP. But it is same thing with different names.
EPP, Domain Secret, or Regauthorization code whatever they call it,can be found in your current domain name control panel or you can ask the current domain name registrar directly about this code.

Well A friend of mine borrowed my USB drive some days ago to transfer college assignment sheets to his computer. Apparently it was done without any problem at any side.

Another fact was that my Anti-Virus was not updated (why i do not know!), that is gate was opened already to let the viruses into computer. So when i got back the USB drive with no data from my friend in it but a folder with name NEW FOLDER. When i clicked the folder, folder was empty but clicking that folder took me to My Document Folder. This was the sign of the virus, i have already faced in the past.

Next logical step was to update the Anti-Virus and Scan the whole computer to kill the nasty viruses. But it was not going to happen easily. To make the long story short, i managed to Restore my computer to the earlier stage. And then updated the Anti Virus and scanned the computer, found many viruses and DELETED all.

But problem was still there, i could not find the many important folders in my computer, little investigation proved that folders are set to Hidden Folders, and to select the option to show the Hidden Files from Tool Menu was not available.

Yes Folder Option in Tool Menu, and in Control Panel was not showing! Shhh, my Anti Virus, Firewall, Spyware and all other security guards were not able to locate the problem or fix it. Then at last one of my Techie friend came to my computer room and solved the whole issue, yeah in a minute and free of cost

Here is how he did this. From Start Menu click RUN, and then write this gpedit.msc and click OK! Next click User Configuration and then Administrative Templates then Windows Component then Windows Explorer. Now the third option is there - Remove the Folder Option menu item from Tools Menu. Right Click this option and click Properties and then DISABLE this. Wow it is done! let me write the whole runway in simple style

Start > Run > gpedit.msc > User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Component > Windows Explorer

Now right click at third option called Remove Folder Option > properties > Disable!

Note: Windows Xp with SP2 is running at my pc. And All above was possible with admin access to the computer.

Getting the Most Return from Your Sales Time Investment (ROI)

Let’s face it: you are probably working for far less than you need to. And the sad thing is, you may not even be aware of it or the options you have! As of now, we’re going to change that for you, and possibly share with you not only a thought but a vehicle that can change your financial life.

We are going to show you how to get much more out of your sales time investment.

This probably applies more to the part time, home based business person than the professional…but we have seen, met, and talked with professionals who really are under- valuing their return on time investment. I know.. we are using that “time investment” word alot all ready. But you MUST consider it just as you do a cash or money investment.

In fact, it’s even more important because once spent or invested, you can’t ever get that particular moment or minute back. It’s gone. You can always invest more money, but you only have so much irreplaceable time. Your sales time investment is one of the most precious ones you can ever make.

As we look at business models, we find on one end, the model that proposes high volume but low profit per sale.

Walmart has certainly shown this works, and many, many, many supermarkets work this same way. It will work if you have the ability to create large volumes of sales. The question is: Do you. If you are a individual sales rep or a small business, just how much of an opportunity do you have to create really large volumes. The appeal to the small business person is to do this by creating some type of a multi-level (also and probably incorrectly referred to as a pyramid) sales organization. In the ideal world, IF you can do this, you can create volume. But this could take years to accomplish, and still never guarantee any income or security because (1)The company behind it could go out of business, be taken over.. or any number of things, (2) The pay plan could change, or (3) The group suddenly dissolve, particularly if or when a heavy hitter or group leader decides to switch to another business and takes his distributors or sales force with him. Did you make a good sales time investment if you chose this model?

Of course you still have the ability to sell the product or service yourself, but (1) Can you do volume, and (2) Is the profit per personal sale worth your time?

The second business model, at the other end of the spectrum, is one that provides a relatively high profit or earning per sale. Sometimes we think of real estate people and car sales people in this category, as well as sales people of specialized capital equipment. But that’s not the majority of us.

The downside here is that if we are thinking about selling a high ticket/high profit item, we have to ask (1) Is there a large market and prospect base? and if we are thinking in terms of an ability for a part time person–possibly a “stay at home mom”, can this high ticket, high profit product or service be first mastered in terms of the technology, and second, is the customer prospect base readily accessible?

In most cases, the answer to those two questions is “no, not available”.

But if it is or was, then here’s a fact that can be virtually carved in stone:

IT TAKES NO MORE TIME OR SKILLS TO SELL THE HIGH PROFIT PACKAGE THAN IT DOES TO SELL THE MASS PRODUCT WITH ONLY PENNIES OR DIMES IN PROFIT!

Think about that! This is ALL relative to your sales time investment, and once more: It’s the MOST IMPORTANT investment y ou have to make.

Ask yourself: “Am I working for pennies or dimes when instead with the right vehicle I could be working for dollars?”

If the answer is yes, and this is so true of particularly home based business entrepreneurs who are involved in sale of nutritional supplements, skin care, fad gadgets, etc., then ask yourself, “Am I doing this because I want to earn a nice income, and do it as quickly as possible… or am I kidding myself about that goal and I just want to get products wholesale or discounted and have some fun?”

Nothing wrong with that, by the way, if you have an hones assessment of what you are doing and why.

But….. If your goal is in the area of $4000-$5000 a month or more, and you also don’t want to spend all your waking hours “working your business”, then it’s time to change.

As your article writer, I can tell you this is an article written from the school of hard knocks and one that really had us so emotionally involved with the businesses. Rah rah rah; recognition, pins, etc. Amway. Free Life. Primerica.

Herbal Life. Been there, done that. Made some money? Yes, but far, far, far less than in other options. And that’s just the part time side of things we did to supplement our “real” job. Made some money, but had no security, and worked for far less than we could have been doing. Plus we just sold our time for money there. No residual income.. but that’s the subject for another article.
